- This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights.

  • Application means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by You on any electronic device, named Masraf Yaz (also known internally as BillScanner).

  • Country refers to: Turkey.

  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone, or a digital tablet.

  • Service refers to the Application.

- Types of Data Collected

1. Personal Data While using Our Service: We do not collect any personally identifiable information (such as your name, address, or phone number) that can be used to contact or identify You. Your receipt data and financial summaries belong strictly to you.

2. Usage Data and Advertising: Usage data is collected automatically when using the Service. For our free users, we use Appodeal as our advertising mediation platform to display advertisements. Appodeal works with multiple third-party ad networks to serve ads within the Application. These ad networks may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA), and device information to serve personalized ads based on your interests.

Before displaying personalized advertisements, we request your consent through a Consent Management Platform (CMP) in compliance with GDPR and CCPA regulations. You may choose to decline personalized advertising, in which case non-personalized ads will be shown.

The ad networks integrated through Appodeal include, but are not limited to:

  • Google AdMob

  • AppLovin

  • Unity Ads

  • Meta Audience Network

  • InMobi

  • Mintegral

  • BidMachine

  • Vungle

  • Yandex Ads

  • myTarget

  • Bigo Ads

3. Camera and Photo Library Access: Our Application requires access to your device's camera and photo library specifically to scan and process your receipts and invoices.

4. Data Processing (OCR) and Cloud Services API: To provide the core functionality of reading text from receipts, our Application utilizes - Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology.

  • Standard Processing: Standard receipt parsing and data storage (using SwiftData) are handled entirely locally on your device.

  • Premium Cloud Processing (Google Cloud Vision API): For users utilizing our Premium advanced scanning features, the images of your receipts are securely transmitted to Google Cloud Vision API for high-accuracy text extraction. These images are exclusively used for reading text in real-time, are processed securely, and are NOT permanently stored, shared, or used by us or Google to train external models. Once the text is extracted, the results are returned to your local device, and the image data is discarded from the cloud transit layer.

 

- Data Security: We value your trust in providing us with your Receipt Data. Remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. However, we ensure that your sensitive financial documents remain locally on your device's database unless explicitly processed via the secure third-party OCR API mentioned above.
